What you probably want to know.
Is it real, or a game world built by hand?
Real. Each scene is a capture of an actual street, not something modelled. The driving on top is a game, but the place you are driving through is a real one.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Open the link and drive. Nothing to install, nothing to configure, no sign-up.
Will it run on my device?
It runs in the browser on most recent machines, including laptops that could never run a big installed game, and on phones: a recent Android or an iPhone on iOS 26 gets the same engine with on-screen controls, and the detail it opens on is chosen for the device. The one real requirement is WebGPU, so an older browser is the thing that stops it rather than an older machine, and the page tells you that instead of failing quietly. The simplest way to know is to open it and try.
It feels slow. Can I make it smoother?
Yes. Open Settings and drop the quality a level. It remembers your choice next time. If it is still rough, the device may be on the older edge of what runs the live engine well.
Will there be more places to drive?
Yes. More locations are the plan. What is coming next, and roughly when, lives on the roadmap.
Can I capture my own place?
That is where this is going. The aim is that a video of a place can become somewhere you can drive. It is still hands-on today, not a one-tap tool. If you want to try it with me, reach out at contact.
What happens to my data?
No account, no email required. Your settings and a copy of the scene are kept on your own device so it loads faster next time, and you can clear them whenever you like. There is anonymous analytics too, including a one-time note of what kind of device you are on and a rough city-level location from your IP, so I can see how the demo runs and where it is reaching.
