You can stand in all of them.
Not a photo, not a video, not a world built by hand. Captured exactly as it looks, at its real coordinate.
drive
Real vehicle physics, colliding with the walls the scan found.
walk
Eye height, down lanes too narrow and too stepped for a car.
ride
A bicycle: power against gravity, so it runs away downhill.
fly
A drone that holds its height as the street climbs beneath it.

Don’t just drive them. Make them.
Every scene here starts in Wascape Studio. Bring a video, a photo set or a scan; clean it, frame it, export it. Editing runs in your browser.

Keep a piece of every place.
Every place you visit leaves you something to keep. In the Wascape Market players buy, sell and trade them. The demo is open now.

Your ad on the real streets players walk.
Wascape places are 3D scans of real streets. We measure their blank walls and signs, and brands put an image or video ad on them. The ad manager demo is open now.
A demo: a sample advertiser with made-up numbers. No ad runs and nothing is charged.
Artificial intelligence, next.
Four places a model goes here, and what each one has to beat. None of them is built yet.
Pixels
Render fewer, rebuild the rest. The upsampler is already here and has no network in it at all. Putting one in is the next step, and it is the strand with real numbers behind it rather than an intention.
has to beat
Half resolution measures 34.3 dB against the full picture, where stretching the small one gets 32.0. DLSS 5 is the bar.
Repair
A capture arrives with floaters, holes, and splats hundreds of metres wide. A model that finds those and drops them before a place ships is the real fix. Today a size ceiling in the renderer hides them, which is a bandage over the data.
has to beat
Three of the eleven places here carried a splat up to 974 metres across. The eight that read sharp never exceed 13 metres.
Light
A photograph carries the light it was taken in. Teaching it to answer to light it never saw is the biggest thing being worked on, and the part a model is likeliest to do better than a formula.
has to beat
A lamp has to light the real brick and throw a shadow that survives being put next to the photograph.
What was never captured
Around a corner the scan never turned, behind a wall it never passed, past the edge of the walk. Inventing that is the furthest from anything built here.
has to beat
The only strand with no date on it, and the one that has to look like the capture rather than like a model.

A photo you can move through.
A WASCAPE scene is the real world captured as millions of tiny points in 3D space. Instead of looking at a picture, you move through it. The technical name is Gaussian splatting, a brand-new way to capture reality. You don’t need to know that to move through it.
Go anywhere. The camera is yours to move.
You’re locked to the spot the camera stood.
Real points in real 3D space, with real depth.
A flat image wrapped around you.
Drive it live, with your own inputs, in real time.
Press play and watch a fixed clip.
The world is solid. You collide with it and roll on it.
Nothing is solid; you can’t touch it.

Don’t just drive them. Make them.
The scenes you drive here start their life in Wascape Studio, the editor that feeds the engine. Bring a video, a photo set, or a scan you already have, then clean it, frame it, and export the exact format the engine streams. Editing runs in your browser; the heavy training runs on your own GPU or a cloud box you point it at.
