Loading the WASCAPE driving demo. This is a visual-only experience: it renders a real place on WebGPU and is driven with a keyboard, gamepad, or touch, and has no screen-reader equivalent yet. The rest of the site is screen-reader accessible.
Drive a real place in your browser
WASCAPE streams a Gaussian-splat capture of a real town into a browser tab and lets you drive through it. The scene is a photographic scan of somewhere that exists, not a modelled environment, and it renders live on WebGPU with no download and no install. Steer with a keyboard, a gamepad, or on-screen controls on a phone. The requirement is a browser with WebGPU, not a particular device; the same places can also be walked, cycled, or flown from the explore surface.
